What happens to information when you visit this website or contact us.

Information you choose to share

The introduction form prepares a message in your browser. It does not automatically submit your entries to Berg Consulting, and the site does not save those entries in browser storage. Copying a draft places it on your device’s clipboard. Opening an email or messaging application lets you review and send it yourself through that service.

If you contact us, the information you send is used to respond, discuss your needs and manage the resulting business correspondence. Please do not include passwords, customer records or other confidential account information in an initial inquiry.

Cookies and browser storage

This site stores your cookie preferences in a first-party local-storage entry named berg-cookie-preferences for up to 180 days. The entry contains your category choices, the version of the cookie inventory, and saved and expiry times. It does not contain a unique visitor identifier.

With your permission, we use Google Analytics 4 to understand website visits, service interest and contact actions. The Google tag loads only after you allow Analytics in Cookie settings. It uses first-party _ga and _ga_* cookies for up to 180 days. Google receives technical information such as your browser and device, IP address, page viewed, referring website and recorded interactions to provide analytics. We do not send names, email addresses, business names or message contents from the inquiry form to Analytics. Recorded contact actions indicate interest or a prepared draft; they do not confirm that an email was sent or received. Advertising tracking, Google signals and advertising personalization are disabled.

You can open Cookie settings on this page to change your choice. Rejecting analytics prevents measurement; withdrawing permission stops further measurement and removes the analytics cookies we set. It does not erase information already collected. Closing the notice does not accept optional categories. You can also clear cookies and local storage through your browser settings.

Website delivery

Website hosting and network providers process technical request information to deliver pages and protect their services. This can include an IP address, requested address, request time and browser information. Cloudflare delivers this website; its privacy policy explains its own handling of information.

Other services

Email, phone, messaging and any separately linked booking service operate under their own terms and privacy practices. This notice covers the public Berg Consulting website. Handling of client account data during a consulting engagement is addressed separately in the agreed engagement terms.

Questions and updates

Use the contact details on the homepage to ask about information you have shared, request a correction or discuss deletion. Any applicable recordkeeping obligations will be considered when responding. This notice will be updated when the website’s data handling changes.
